Financial Inclusion Mission

Our bank is committed to delivering integrated banking, insurance, and pension services through a combination of traditional branches and branchless banking models. Our goal is to reach every household and member in 25,086 villages, as well as the 8,349 service areas allotted to the bank. Additionally, we aim to provide basic banking services in non-service area regions of metro, urban, semi-urban, and rural areas, including urban wards, through banking correspondents.

Our approach to financial inclusion centres around two key elements: countering exclusion from the payment system and formal financial services. Our bank's approach is rooted in the belief that every person has a fundamental right to access a bank account. We base this approach on the principle of 5A's: adequacy and availability of financial services to all sections of society through formal financial systems, awareness of financial services, affordability, and accessibility of appropriate financial products through a combination of traditional and alternative delivery channels, as well as technology-enabled services and processes. We strive to make financial services accessible to all, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status.

Financial Inclusion Vision

Our bank's Financial Inclusion vision strives to bring each member of every household in the country under the protective umbrella of banking. We aim to achieve this by opening savings accounts and providing access to various banking services, including microcredit, RuPay cards, Aadhaar-based services, financial literacy, women's empowerment, direct benefit transfers, insurance, and pension services.

With an unwavering commitment to reaching the unreached, we firmly believe that everyone, including the poor, is bankable. We are dedicated to extending financial services at an affordable cost to improve the quality of life for all those who have been deprived of formal financial institution services so far. Our ultimate goal is to help them achieve financial independence and stability, one step at a time.
