Donation of electric vehicles to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad

As part of commitment to improving transportation facilities at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) campus at Hyderabad, donated 4 battery operated electric vehicles (Golf carts) in April 2023.

The donation will cater for intramural transportation of needy patients inside the hospital campus which are in different parts.

Donation of an Ambulance to SDMH hospital , Jaipur

Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT), as a part of it’s commitment towards improving health infrastructure in the country, donated an Ambulance to "SDMH" hospital, one of the prestigious Hospitals at Jaipur to cater the patients.

The keys of the Ambulance was handed over by Shri Nidhu Saxena , Vice Chairman of UBSFT & Executive Director, Union Bank of India to Dr G N Gupta Medical Director SDMH on the 13.8.2022. Present on the occasion were Shri Vipan Singh, FGM Jaipur , Shri Mayank Bhardvaj RH Jaipur & other officials from Union Bank of India , Shri Thomus, Chief Administrative Officer & Shri Mahesh Sogani FA from SDMH.The event was very well appreciated and acknowledged by all the stake holders.

Donation of one 33 seater camp van and one X-ray machine with digital upgrade kit

Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT), as a part of it’s commitment towards improving health infrastructure in the country, donated one X-ray machine with digital upgrade kit & one 33 seater camp van to Tirumalai Medical Mission hospital, Ranipet, Tamilnadu.

The X-ray machine was delivered & installed at the said hospital. The camp van was handed over to the said hospital authorities by Ms. A Manimekhalai, MD & CEO of Union Bank of India on the 12.8.2022. Present on the occasion were Mr.Anand Parthasarathy, CEO and Mrs. Bhooma Parthsarathy, director Thirumalai Charity Trust, Mr. Vishweshwaran, FGM, Chennai & Mr. Chezhaian N, Regional Head, Chennai (South) & other senior officials of Union Bank of India.

Donation of Oxygen Generator Plant.

Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT),as a part of it’s commitment towards improving health infrastructure in the country, donated an Oxygen Generator Plant at Community Health Centre, Mulki, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka.

The Oxygen Generator Plant was delivered and installed at the Community Health Centre, Mulki .Present on the occasion on 11th March,2022 were Mr. J Mahesha , Regional Head, Union Bank of India ,RO Mangalore, Dr. Krishna , Community Health Centre, Mulki & Ms. Shathi, Staff Nurse, Community Health Centre, Mulki.

Donation of Ultrasound Doppler Machine

Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT) ,as a part of it’s commitment towards improving health infrastructure in the country, donated an Ultrasound Doppler Machine to King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam.

The Ultrasound Doppler Machine was handed over to the King George Hospital & the same was placed in the Radiology Department of the Hospital. The machine was inaugurated at an event organised on the 8 th March, 2022 by Shri K.S.D Siva Vara Prasad, Field General Manager, Visakhapatnam. Present on the occasion were Arvind Kumar, Regional Head, RO, Viskhapatnam, Dr. P. Mydhili, Superintendent of King George Hospital and Dr.P.Bujji Babu, Head of the Radiology department, KGH.

Donation of Oxygen Plant

Union Bank Social Foundation(UBSFT) , as a part of it’s commitment towards improving health infrastructure in the country, donated a new oxygen generator plant to District Government Hospital,Udupi.

The high capacity plant which is equipped to provide uninterrupted oxygen support to patients was inaugurated on 16th October, 2021 by Shri. Rajkiran Rai G, the chairman of the Foundation & Managing director & CEO of Union Bank of India . Present on the occasion were Shri. Kurma Rao M, District Commissioner & District Magistrate, Shri B.Sadashiva Prabhu, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr.Madhusudhan Nayak, DHO, Udupi, Shri. M.V.
