What is the Union e-biz App?
Union e-biz App is Union Bank of India’s dedicated mobile banking application designed for Business Banking customers (Individual and Sole proprietorship). It helps manage accounts, make and receive payments, monitor collections, add users, and access insights for better business banking
Who can use the Union e-biz App?
Currently, the app is available for Individual and Sole Proprietorship business customers. In later phases, it will be made available to Partnerships, LLPs, and Companies.
What are the eligibility criteria to register for the Union e-biz App?
The customer must be KYC compliant and have at least one active Current Account, Running CC account and OD account. The customer should not be a minor, NRI, deceased, illiterate, or a Union Bank staff member. The CIF should not be suspended.
Can a customer with an NPA account use the app?
No. Customer with an NPA will not be able to register for the app
How can I register for the Union e-biz App?
You can download the Union e-biz App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You can register using any of the following: Debit Card details or Corporate ID & User ID (for added users) and Branch Generated Token
Can I access both my individual and business accounts through one login?
Yes. You can access both your Individual and Sole Proprietorship Business accounts using the same login credentials. You can switch between accounts before or after login using the dropdown on the login or homepage.
What is the difference between Login PIN and T-PIN?
Login PIN is used to log into the app. T-PIN is used to authorize transactions. Both are 4-digit numbers and must be unique (not identical or repetitive).
Can I use biometric login on the Union e-biz App?
Yes. You can enable fingerprint or face ID login during registration. However, if you skip this step initially, biometric login cannot be added later.
What information is available on the homepage?
The homepage displays your key banking information such as account balances, deposits, borrowings, cards, pending collections, and pending settlements. You can also use shortcuts for Fund Transfer, Payments, or Collections.
What are Pending Collections and Pending Settlements?
Pending Collections show payments that you are yet to receive through POS, Bharat QR, or Payment Links. Pending Settlements show payments you have received but are yet to be credited to your account (usually settled next day).
How can I update my profile or business details?
You can update your details under the Profile section of the app. Here, you can view or update KYC, GST, Udyam, and LEI details, reset or change your PINs, de-register your device, and manage security settings.
What types of fund transfers can I do using the Union e-biz App?
You can make payments using the following options: Fund Transfer (within or outside Union Bank), Quick Transfer (up to ₹50,000), Bulk Payments (via Group or File Upload), and Standing Instructions (scheduled payments).
What are the fund transfer limits?
Third-party transactions: Up to ₹25 lakh per transaction/day. Quick Transfer: Up to ₹50,000 per transaction/day. Self-account transfers: Up to ₹9,99,99,999. Customers can also set lower limits for additional control under Payments → Transfer Limits.
How do I add a new beneficiary or payee?
Go to Payments → Manage Payee → Add a New Payee. Select the payee type (supplier, employee, etc.), enter account details, and validate using T-PIN and OTP. Payments to a new payee can be made after 3 hours.
Can I schedule payments automatically?
Yes. You can set Standing Instructions for one-time or recurring transfers through Payments → Standing Instructions.
What are the different collection options available in the Union e-biz App?
You can receive payments using: POS Device (with or without sound box), Payment Links (active for 24 hours), and Bharat QR / Merchant QR (including Dynamic QR for specific amounts).
What is a Dynamic QR code?
A Dynamic QR code is generated for a specific payment amount and expires within 3 minutes. It allows quick, one-time payment collection from customers.
Can I add users to manage my business account?
Yes. Sole Proprietors can add users under Profile → Access Management. You can assign rights such as Viewer (can view account details) or Initiator (can initiate transactions for your approval).
How are added users verified and activated?
Each added user receives a Corporate ID and User ID by email. They must complete download app, register with Corp ID, set Login PIN and T-PIN, and complete Video KYC. Once verified, they can access the account with the rights assigned by the Sole Proprietor.
How do I keep my Union e-biz App secure?
Do not share your PINs or passwords. Enable biometric login for faster and safer access. Use only trusted networks. Review and manage user access regularly. Always log out after use and keep your app updated.
What is Bulk Payment?
Bulk Payment is a facility that allows businesses or individuals to make multiple payments simultaneously through the Union e-biz app, saving time and reducing manual effort.
Who can use the Bulk Payment facility?
Corporate customers, businesses, and individuals with multiple payees can use the Bulk Payment feature after appropriate onboarding by the bank.
Is there any limit on the number of transactions in Bulk Payment?
The maximum limit is defined by the bank and can be viewed in the Bulk Payment section of the Union e-biz app.

How can I generate a payment link or request?
You can generate a payment link by following these steps:
- Log in to the banking app
- On the homepage select Payment link or
- Go to Payments → Generate Payment Link Request
- Select the account for receiving the payment
- Enter the remaining details
- Confirm the details and submit
- Request will be submitted to Bank for Registration for Payment link
- Once approved by the Bank you will be able to generate payment link and fix the validity of the payment link
- Share the payment link through whatsapp or sms
What payment options are available to the payer?
The recipient can pay via:
- UPI
- Debit/Credit Card
- Net Banking
- Wallets
Can I set an expiry date for the payment link?
Yes, you can set the validity period for the payment link while generating it. After the expiry date, the link will automatically become inactive.
Is there any limit on the amount for payment requests?
Yes, transaction limits apply as per the bank’s policy and RBI guidelines. These limits vary based on account type and customer profile.
How will I know if the payment is successful?
You will receive:
